The Essex Summer Opera Festival returns for another week of opera, chamber music and songs from the musicals, with something for everyone.

This isn’t just any production; it’s sung in English by a dream cast of exceptional singers, accompanied by a chamber orchestra of 10 top musicians. Directed by James Hurley, designed by Sophie Lincoln, and conducted by Orlando Jopling, this production promises to be a remarkable experience for opera aficionados and newbies alike.

Wild Arts is a charity dedicated to making music accessible, fresh, and enjoyable for everyone. They are passionate about innovating and reimagining opera to create vibrant, engaging productions that resonate with a wide audience.

The Magic Flute is the perfect piece to introduce young people to opera. It’s fun, magical, full of hummable tunes, and not too long.
