The Essex Summer Opera Festival returns for another critically acclaimed performance.

This isn’t just any production; it’s sung in English by a dream cast of exceptional singers, accompanied by a chamber orchestra of 10 top musicians. Directed by James Hurley, designed by Sophie Lincoln, and conducted by Orlando Jopling, this production promises to be a remarkable experience for opera aficionados and newbies alike.

Wild Arts is a charity dedicated to making music accessible, fresh, and enjoyable for everyone. They are passionate about innovating and reimagining opera to create vibrant, engaging productions that resonate with a wide audience.

The Magic Flute is the perfect piece to introduce young people to opera. It’s fun, magical, full of hummable tunes, and not too long.

Picnic tables and picnic boxes will be made available soon. They will be available for the performances on Thursday 20th, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2024.

We hope that the different timings will allow everyone to come to see the show, from people with day jobs to families. We offer tickets for under 16s at £15 on Tuesday 18th and Sunday 23rd June 2024.
