The best way to enjoy the history of Layer Marney Tower is to come on a Guided Tour. The 500 year old Gatehouse has been the private home for 11 different families, each with a story to tell. The tour will take you into the private side of the house as well as the church and the Gatehouse.

3. Refreshments can be had before or after your tour, but must be booked in advance to ensure we have enough food in.
4. If you want to stay on afterwards and wander the gardens and look at the exhibitions you can make a day of it.
5. We are happy to do a tour for less than 20 people but there is a minimum fee.
