An introductory talk can be offered to visiting groups that do not want to have a guided tour. The talk lasts 20 minutes and offers a brief outline of the history and what makes Layer Marney Tower so special. After the talk the group are welcome to wander round as a normal visitor until 5pm.

2. Plan your visit and tell us your arrival and departure times. We can work to your timetable. Fill in and return the Booking Form.
3. Refreshments can be had before or after your talk, but must be booked in advance to ensure we have enough food in.
4. After the Introductory talk you can wander the gardens and look at the Crowns and Crests exhibition, The Victor Batte-Lay Foundation Collections of Picture and the Myra English Dolls House Collection, as well as visit the nearby Church and climb to the roof of the Gatehouse.
