Enjoy picnics in our beautiful gardens and sparkling opera performances in our atmospheric oak-timbered barn as Wild Arts brings the Essex Summer Opera Festival back to Layer Marney Tower for a fifth year.
This year’s Essex Summer Opera Festival features Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. A comic opera of intrigue, secret lovers and clever disguises is a whirlwind of joyous music and sparkling theatrical mischief and the perfect summer treat.
So gather friends and family and book now for the perfect Summer event. You are welcome to arrive and set up your picnic and enjoy the gardens before the performance and you will be able to pre-order picnics and interval drinks.
