An Evening of Ghost Stories by candlelight. A one-man performance by Toby Burchell

Behind the Door Productions returns for ‘An Evening of ‘Ghost Stories’ at Layer Marney Tower.

ACT 1: In Charles Dickens’ classic ghost story, ‘The Signalman’, we follow a railway signalman who keeps watch over a damp, and gloomy railway cutting. Upon questioning, he reveals that he has been haunted by spectral warnings of impending train disasters.

ACT 2: In Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s  ‘Lot No. 249’, we follow Abercrombie Smith, a student who investigates a series of supernatural occurrences linked to his neighbour, Edward Bellingham. Edward, an Oxford student, holds possession of an ancient Egyptian mummy which he uses to stalk his enemies.

Doors open at 6.30pm. The performance starts at 7pm and will finish at 8.30pm.

There will be a bar open before and during the interval.
