Woven through the three course Christmas Dinner is this timeless narrative performed by Minty Spectre of Charles Dicken’s classic ‘A Christmas Carol’. The story is read by a narrator and accompanied by a vocal group to bring the characters alive. This is a lovely combination of the power of storytelling, live performance and cultural experiences that works so well to bring people together.

The vocal group is made up of four singers, singing both original and classic Christmas music, woven into and around this classic tale.

This year, we are pleased to offer you two afternoon performances on Thursday and Sunday. Friday is an evening performance.

6.30pm/11.30am           Arrive in the barn for a glass of Smoking Bishop or Blackcurrant Steam, enjoy the atmosphere as the cast set to scene with some carol singing.

7pm/12noon                   Take your seats for Minty Spectre’s wonderful classical and contemporary Christmas singing

7.30pm/12.30pm          1^st course is served – a hot bowl of homemade soup and a bread roll

8pm/1pm                       A Christmas Carol part 1

8.30pm/1.30pm            2^nd course is served –delicious Christmas Turkey with all the trimmings

9.15pm/2.15pm             A Christmas Carol part 2

9.45pm/2.45pm            3^rd Course is served – Desert of Christmas pudding and brandy sauce followed by tea/coffee

10.15pm/3.15pm            Opportunity for some retail therapy at the gift stall and departure
