Layer Marney Tower is set in 120 acres of diverse countryside.The Main building is the front facade of a Tudor Palace, The Long Gallery is built in the old Stable block. For 500 years the house has been, and still is, a private home and has rooms of every shape and size. There is a huge timber-clad Essex Barn. There is a terraced garden and also green pathways, woods, streams, rare breed sheep, red deer and three friendly goats. Take your pick!

There are three large inside spaces, The Long Gallery, The Essex Barn or the Corsellis Room, that have varying capacity and unique atmosphere. We have excellent caterers who have a wide range of menu.
