The grounds and facilities are particularly suitable for team building exercises or away days and include glamping (glamorous camping) for up to 48 people.
Function Rooms
Layer Marney Tower has everything you need if you’re looking for function rooms or conference venues in Essex. There are three large, multipurpose rooms – the Long Gallery, the Corsellis Room and Tuke's Chamber, each with their own unique characteristics. The Long Gallery alone is capable of accommodating up to 200 people for a presentation or 150 for a dinner. Five smaller rooms can be used for meetings and training purposes, or as break-out rooms in conjunction with the Corsellis Room and Tuke's Chamber. The rooms all have a modern communication system and internet access

Using ingredients of the best quality – Layer Marney Tower provides for all occasions, from finger buffets to 3 course meals and barbecues to banquets which can all be arranged for that special event or occasion. All ingredients are locally sourced where possible.
Grounds and Surroundings
The buildings at Layer Marney Tower are surrounded by formal gardens. Two fields lying to the south are of flat grassland, 25 acres and 17 acres respectively. They lend themselves to all sorts of outdoor activities; archery, jousting and clay pigeons. There are 60 other acres of grass and woodland providing wildlife habitats, which can also be used for team building or similar events.
