This is Day1 of our 500 Commemorations of the Funeral Procession of Henry 1st Lord Marney. Henry Marney's 3 day Funeral Procession started from his house near St Swinthin's, London Stone. It is all written up in a fascinating and detailed document held by the College of Arms. Come to the College of Arms and learn more and then join the walking tour to where Henry Marney might have lived, the gardens of St Swinthin's Church and other City Churches named in the Document.

The College of Arms have very kindly placed the document of Henry, 1st Lord Marney’s Funeral Procession on display .

Clarenceux, King of Arms, Timothy Duke, will very kindly give talks about the Heralds’ involvement in the Funeral at 10.30am, 2pm and 4 pm. Book in for a talk of about 30 minutes, which will be followed by a walking tour that will take you to where he may have lived and the 3 churches where his body stopped as the procession moved out of the City of London. The walk is about 45 minutes long, drops by St Stephen’s Walbrook, St Michael’s Cornhill  and finishes at St Botolph’s without Aldgate.
